00-28VS Custom

The Custom Shop at C.F. Martin & Company made 3 of these in 2010.
It's a double-0 body size, 12 frets to the body, made of figured Koa, with a Sitka spruce top.

The heel cap and bindings are ivoroid.
Ivoroid endpiece, pyramid bridge in the background.
The neck is wide, 1-7/8" at the nut, cut in the "modified V" profile. Ebony fingerboard.
Pearl fret marker inlays in the "diamonds and squares" pattern.
Square-slotted headstock with small Martin logo decal.
Carved diamond (a/k/a volute).
The Mahogany neck and Koa head plate have a satin finish.
The brass tuning machines are by Waverly, with small ivoroid buttons.
